The Great Cribbage Challenge of 2014. We’re playing one game a night, at least we are early in the season, because it takes us so long to finish a game.
|1/2||1||I’m still not sure we’re playing this right.|
|1/3||1||We must be playing it right, I’m winning.|
|1/4||1||A crushing defeat.|
|1/5||1||Filthy, stupid game.|
|1/8||1||Debbie beat me by 35 points. It was brutal|
It looks like Secretariat at the Belmont, you can barely even see the second place finisher.
|1/12||1||1||We split a doubleheader|
|1/13||1||I had the worst hands ever.|
|1/14||1||I pointed out to Debbie that you’re supposed say ‘go’ when you can’t play, not ‘bleep.’ I still lost.|
|1/22||1||After a long break to attend the National No-Till Conference I come roaring back with an overwhelming victory.|
|1/25||1||Double pair royal, twelve. You know what I’m talking about!|
|1/26||1||I prevail in a nailbiter!|
|2/1||1||February is bitter.|
|2/2||1||Debbie was the Denver Broncos of cribbage tonight.|
|2/6||1||After throwing a tizzy last night Debbie stages a comeback.|
|2/8||1||Ouch. What a smackdown.|
|2/9||1||Debbie kicked me in the shin and hit me on the head with the cribbage board. What a poor loser!|
|2/21||1||Ok, cribbage experts, how do you score a hand with a 7,7, and 1?|
|2/26||1||Debbie’s won two in a row, but she says she’s not going to stop whining about her bad luck.|
|2/28||1||Debbie’s won three in a row now, and says everything she knows about whining she learned from me.|
|3/11||1||Yet another thrashing. Spring can’t come soon enough!|
|3/12||1||Yet another thrashing. Spring can’t come soon enough!|
|3/13||1||Finally I win in a squeaker.|
|3/14||1||Debbie would’ve won if 10 and 6 added up to 15.|
|3/15||1||Debbie is a bully when she wins. Et tu, Debba?|
|3/16||1||Debbie continues her winning ways. I’m feeling fear.|
|3/18||1||Debbie says she’s never playing again.|

You don’t know if you are playing it correctly but, by golly, you’re gonna claim that win.
Feeling somewhat bad that I told chuck I hated him yesterday when I thought I was never going to win.
What’s the matter? Too frozen to play Tuesday?
Wow,….. just…. wow
Well, obviously she’s playing by the Gordon rules.
So you took off to no-till college to practice cribbage without Deb, right?
I don’t think it’s February that is bitter.
Not an expert but I’m guessing you score it as DEBBIE WINS!
LOL Nice one Deb! I’m thinking you could add some of that gloating that rolls off this page, too.
Is this over on the calendar spring of March 20 or do you play until the weather says it’s spring?
We are playing until the 20th…don’t think we can trust to ever actually see spring weather anytime soon.
Will you be having a ceremonial burning of the cribbage board?
I think you should play Candyland next year, so Debbie has a chance of winning.
