Walter Zumbrunnen

Life Sketch
Walter Zumbrunnen is known only for his appearance in records of the Fraumünster of Zürich in the year 1290, holding a fief in Uri. His name suggests a relationship with Walter Zumbrunnen, the first Zumbrunnen, but his appearance in records in 1290 makes him almost certainly a different Walter. He could be a son, grandson or possibly even great-grandson. He appears in the same records as Werner Zumbrunnen (whose position in the family tree is also uncertain), but about 33 years apart, suggesting the possibility of a father-son relationship.

It’s possible that Walter Zumbrunnen was the same generation as Burkhard the younger, Conrad (who also both appear in records in the 1290s) or Arnold.
