Ana Catharina Behsler

Life Sketch
Ana Catharina Behsler was the wife of Burkhard Zumbrunnen.

Her husband Burkhard was the long-time chief clerk in Uri, and so they must have lived most of their lives in Altdorf. In 1663, Burkhard moved to Sargans to serve as the landvogt, or bailiff. During his tenure as bailiff, he lived in Sargans Castle. Assuming Ana Catharina was still alive in the 1660s she would have lived there with him.
