Ana Margarita Zumbrunnen

Life Sketch
Ana Margarita Zumbrunnen was the daughter of Anton Zumbrunnen and Maria Elizabetha von Beroldingen.

She married her father’s second cousin, Josue Zumbrunnen. That would make her and Josue second cousins once removed. My sense is that marriages among relatives as distant as that were not considered taboo at the time, although I’m not sure. They had nine children together, three of which were named after Ana Margarita’s brothers.

She may have died young because Josue remarried to Barbara von Beroldingen and had two more children.
