Life Sketch
Fr. Paschal Zumbrunnen was the son of Josue Zumbrunnen and Barbara Tschudi, born in 1609. In 1620, at the age of 11 he enrolled at the Collège Saint-Michel.
He joined the Capuchin Order of priests on 6 May 1626. His school records reveal that his birth name was Franz, but that he adopted the name Paschal when he became a priest. He died on 1 Sep 1638 at the monastery of Rapperswil.
